Resource 1 is in need of an IT Operations Manager for a full-time/permanent position with our client in Eugene, OR. This position is 100% onsite so candidates must be local to the area or willing to relocate to be onsite from day 1 (client will pay relocation assistance if needed). The IT Operations Manager will take ownership of critical IT operations, such as month-end and year-end closings. During these closing periods, will be expected to work late hours and have on-call availability until midnight. The role involves troubleshooting complex processes, managing key operational tasks, ad hoc queries, and working closely with other departments such as Payroll and Accounting to ensure smooth execution of operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all scheduled tasks, identify issues, and troubleshoot errors in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and ensure the proper functioning of CData processes, troubleshoot errors, and resolve issues.
  • Monitor and address operational support tickets, ensuring quick resolutions.
  • Oversee and manage the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of document management software to ensure seamless workflow processes.
  • Supervise the Night Operations role and its responsibilities, including maintaining clear, updated documentation and checklists for night operations processes.
  • Coordinate the monthly commission schedule with Payroll and update the NightOps database accordingly.
  • Oversee Physical Month-End/Parts End of Month activities and A/R Month-End processes.
  • Manage Sales, Rental, and CSA Commissions processing both mid-month and at the end of the month. Verify commission data is accurate and ensure it is delivered on time.
  • Send monthly suggested orders to vendors.
  • Prepare and backup depreciation files.
  • Upload payroll hours and run end of month labor updates.
  • Lead efforts during physical year-end closing, prepare backups, and assist with mid-year/year-end meetings, including compilation of information packets for management team and auditors.
  • Assist with data manipulation and conversions to ensure integration with current systems.
  • Prepare and export requested data quarterly as requested.
  • Continuous improvement of existing processes (i.e., automate what can be automated, streamline processes for simplicity and reduction of errors, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, reverse engineer processes, and manage batch/script files.
  • Advanced skills in Excel, MS Query, and Access for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Strong experience with SQL queries for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with creating and editing documents in Acrobat and Word.
  • Experience with managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing document management software and workflow processes.
  • Experience with Cypress, CData Arc, and/or Attunity.
  • Experience in handling large datasets, converting data formats, and preparing data for use by developers.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Teams and ADO (ActiveX Data Objects) for collaboration and operations management.
  • Proficiency in HP Non-Stop TACL, PERUSE, SPOOLCOM, ENFORM, SCF would be helpful.
  • Experience in Delphi/Pascal is a plus but not mandatory.
