Security Technologist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Security Technologist in Redmond, WA.

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Security Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support a game studio as part of the Security team. If you are eager to strengthen your capabilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this is the job for you!

Responsibilities:
* Security Technologist will act as Tier 2 to analyze security alerts and issues performing triage to confirm triage to confirm security incidents in various security tools
* Investigate security incidents and determine root cause, impact, and next steps to mitigation
* Work with various teams on security initiatives and ensure successful completion of work to remediate findings
* Review and analyze vulnerability detections, collaborate with stakeholders to remediate issues, and ensure the successful closure of findings
* Conduct software security reviews and provide recommendations on usage
* Update and maintain security processes and documentation ensuring completeness and accuracy
* As a Security Technologist, you will provide support in completing projects and tasks aimed at addressing gaps or improving security tools
* Fulfill Identity and Access Management requests and assist with related IAM projects as needed
* Manage and triage security ticket queue
* Maintain current knowledge of tools and best practices in cyber security
* Participate in a 24/7 on call rotation when required

REQUIREMENTS:
* IT Security Certifications such as MSFT: SOAA, ASEA, Security+, CISSP, CCSP, GIAC, or GSEC; Highly preferred is CISSP
* 5 years of work-related experience
* Minimum 5 years with MSFT Office proficiency - Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, OneNote, Words
* Minimum 3 years of experience with Microsoft defender suite
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Azure
* Minimum 1 year experience with Intune
* Experience in a development environment
* Scripting experience such as PowerShell, Bash, Python (Automation)
* Experience with Linux Operating Systems
* Experience with IaC and PaC tools such as Terraform
* Knowledge of common application architectures
* Knowledge of software asset management

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
