The Role: The ERP Analyst II - Finance supports the development, maintenance, and deployment of functionality related to Bi-State Development s Oracle E-Business Suite. This position focuses on the Supply Chain Management area, working closely with business customers and the technical team to implement Oracle E-Business related changes that improve processes and enhance business effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
  • Gather and evaluate business requirements, determine approaches, and implement Oracle capabilities and customizations.
  • Develop, test, and implement new Oracle functionalities and configurations.
  • Investigate Oracle E-Business Suite functionality, data, and interface problems, and implement resolutions.
  • Collaborate with business customers to identify improvements or new capabilities that could benefit the organization.
  • Assist in developing recommendations, business cases, and estimates for new functionality and changes.
  • Document Oracle E-Business Suite configurations, support information, and customizations per Bi-State Development IT standards.
  • Work with infrastructure, database, and application development teams to ensure proper unit, system, user acceptance, and performance testing.
  • Assist with the orientation and training of Oracle end users/customers as necessary.
  • Document and estimate requests for new capabilities, helping assess the value to the organization.

  • The role is 25% functional and 75% technical.

  • Ability to document requirements, recommendations, estimates, and system information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in both team environments and independent work, with the ability to set priorities.
  • Ability to understand business processes and work with customers to support their needs.
  • Full life cycle development experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve data, application, and process issues.
  • Eagerness to stay current on Oracle E-Business Suite technologies.
  • Understanding of IT and Oracle standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite modules, interfaces, and technologies.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • Functional configuration experience in at least one of the following Oracle E-Business Suite modules (preferably release 12.2+): AR, GL, FA, Projects, and Grants.
  • Technical understanding of Oracle tables, APIs, and development guidelines.
  • Experience providing day-to-day end-user support.
  • Ability to develop and debug complex SQL queries and PL/SQL packages.
  • Knowledge of some RICEWF objects (e.g., Oracle Reports, BI Publisher reports, Forms and/or OAF Extensions, Interfaces, Workflow).
Special Consideration For:
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud technologies and tools.
  • Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud.
Education & Experience:
  • Degree: B.S. or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: Minimum of three (3) years in an ERP-related area, preferably in Oracle E-Business Suite development or as an Oracle E-Business Suite Business Analyst.
  • Fields: Information Technology, Accounts Payable, or a related field.
