Job Purpose: The Consultant will work with the Child Support Program, Enterprise System Support Process (ESSP), augmenting current program resources and providing technical assistance consultation services in support of the of the CAMS system. The consultant selected for this position will work and coordinate with agency executive and managing sponsors, technical and functional staff, contractors, partners and vendors for the design and implementation of the S/4HANA upgrade project and ensuring all required and appropriate project deliverables, reporting and communications are completed. About the Candidate: Qualifications Education - Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience. Certification - Mandatory Training in SAP S/4HANA
This position requires the following experience and/or knowledge: 1. Minimum 5 years of development experience in S/4HANA to include: OData Services Front end Fiori application development ABAP Rest Programming Model SAP ABAP procedural and object-oriented programming. ABAP Core Data Services CSP Template (revised 7/23/24) User Exits BADIs Module Pool Programs 2. Working in a project-oriented environment. 3. Performing root cause analysis. 4. Preparing and presenting best technical solutions for business requirements and/or issues. Preferred Experience 1. All phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including Analysis, Physical and Logical design, Code development, Testing, Implementation and Maintenance. 2. Front end Fiori application development 3. SAP SD/CRM module and web-UI/Web-IC 4. Experience with ECC in SAP. 5. Experience with CRM in SAP. 6. Knowledge reflected in SAP S/4HANA related certifications. 7. S/4 HANA migration Primary Job duties and tasks Conduct review and analysis of functional specifications or blueprint documents to provide technical approach and solution and effort estimates. Troubleshoots and resolves incidents and issues identified related to CAMS. Identify, prioritize, resolve, document, and communicate technical and operational issues related to internal software applications. Engage with end users in a professional and helpful manner as needed Meet with business process to provide solutions and assist in the development needed to meet business and end-user needs. Meet with functional and/or technical staff to discuss technical approach and solutions and to explain system functionality. Conduct system functionality review based on current code and/or technical specifications. Prioritize solutions that are configurable and standard over development of custom. Collaborate with other team members effectively. Answer FAQs. Knowledge transfer to technical staff. Create system documentation and other artifacts. Provide status reporting of assignments. Perform peer code reviews. Properly estimate work efforts and technical challenges (scoping projects). Map the Program s business processes to appropriate technology solutions. Perform other related duties, as required. |
