What You'll Do

  • Create and implement innovative metrics to effectively evaluate cell quality during the formation process
  • Analyze large-scale formation and development phase data to uncover actionable insights that drive improvement
  • Define and refine formation processes to optimize the extraction of quality metrics
  • Establish meaningful correlations between formation data and long-term battery performance
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing and quality teams to provide insightful feedback and recommendations based on your analysis
  • Investigate the relationships between cell manufacturing processes and fleet performance data to identify opportunities for enhancement
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on advancing battery quality and performance metrics
  • Prepare and present your findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, to drive strategic decision-making


  • What You'll Bring

  • Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, performance analysis, electrochemistry, the behavior of cells during charge and discharge cycles, and ability to apply them towards manufacturing process development
  • Proficiency in in Python and/or SQL
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills for effective teamwork

  • Expected Compensation

    $76,000 - $240,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
