  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.

ONLINE COMMUNITY MODERATION SPECIALIST - REMOTE

We are seeking an Online Community Moderation Specialist to help ensure a safe, fun, and engaging online community environment. In this role, you will monitor and moderate user-generated content while working closely with internal teams to cultivate a strong and positive community. Your work will contribute to curating content and providing valuable audience insights to various departments within the organization.

This is a long-term contract assignment which may be performed fully remotely.

What You ll Do

  • Monitor and moderate user-generated content to ensure a safe and positive community environment in line with the Organizations's guidelines and terms of service.
  • Manage moderation of user comments on the Organization's articles using the Viafoura platform.
  • Oversee moderation coverage and utilize third-party vendors, including Khoros and Viafoura, for community management.
  • Identify standout user contributions for potential inclusion as articles in the Ideas, Tips & Answers (ITA) section.
  • Support the implementation of an internal and external Experts Program to enhance community engagement.
  • Analyze community user activity and share insights with internal teams.
  • Quickly identify issues in the community and escalate as needed.


What You ll Bring

  • Experience with moderation platforms, including Viafoura, Khoros, and Sprinklr.
  • Proficiency in Office365, familiarity with Salesforce and SharePoint is desired.
  • Ability to balance time effectively across many online communities.
  • Strong analytical skills to provide community insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

  • Expertise in monitoring trends and user behavior within large-scale online communities.
  • Ability to identify and repurpose valuable user contributions that enhance the online experience.
