  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Piper Companies is seeking EDI 837 Claims Developer to join an established Healthcare Data Management company. This is a remote contract to hire opportunity . The EDI 837 Claims Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining complex EDI integrations, focusing on healthcare claims and automation to ensure seamless data exchange between systems.

Responsibilities for the EDI 837 Claims Developer:
  • Develop and maintain EDI-based integrations using SOAP/REST web services, focusing on HIPAA EDI X12 transactions (837, 835, 834, 278, 270/271, 276/277).
  • Analyze business requirements and design integration solutions across multiple systems and data formats (flat files, XML, JSON).
  • Perform unit and integration testing to ensure data accuracy and smooth system operations.
  • Create and maintain automation routines using RPA tools (Fortra Automate Plus, UIPath, Kofax) with error handling and monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues, implement bug fixes, and mentor junior developers to ensure high-quality solutions.

Qualifications for the EDI 837 Claims Developer:
  • 7+ years of development experience with Microsoft technologies (C#, VB.Net, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS).
  • Strong experience with HIPAA EDI transactions (837, 835, 834, 278, 270/271, 276/277) and claims processing.
  • Familiarity with EDI tools such as BizTalk, Informatica, Sterling, and Edifecs.
  • Knowledge of healthcare claims systems like QNXT, HealthEdge, and Facets.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and advanced use of Google Sheets/Excel for data analysis.


Compensation for the EDI 837 Claims Developer:

Hourly Rate: $55.0-$62.0 per hour

Targeted Converted Salary: $120,000-$130,000
