Facilities Technician

Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Facilities Technician (Ammonia Refrigeration) located in Wilson, North Carolina (NC) to work for an innovative and growing manufacturing company in the food production space.

Responsibilities for the Facilities Technician (Ammonia Refrigeration) include:

• Repair electrical/mechanical and HVAC facilities and equipment related to the manufacturing of food products.
• Utilize knowledge of PLCs to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Maintain proper documentation and lockout tagout for equipment maintenance
• Utilize proper PPE (protective equipment) while working within a regulated environment

Qualifications for the Facilities Technician (Ammonia Refrigeration) include:

• Experience with ammonia refrigeration
• Hands on experience within a GMP regulated manufacturing environment preferred
• HVAC certified with hands on experience within facilities HVAC maintenance and repair
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment

Compensation for the Facilities Technician (Ammonia Refrigeration) include:

• Compensation range is $35.00 - $40.00/HR
