Description:

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Windows Server Administrator with extensive experience in VMware, Pure Storage, HPE, or Cohesity products.
• The ideal candidate will also have a strong emphasis on Red Hat Linux and proficiency in Ansible for automation.
• This role requires a proactive individual who can manage complex environments and ensure the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement, configure, and manage virtualization solutions using VMware.
• Administer storage solutions, particularly with Pure Storage, HPE, or Cohesity technologies.
• Install, configure, and manage Red Hat Linux servers.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to streamline administrative tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations to maintain compliance and security standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to support and enhance the overall IT infrastructure.
• Document system configurations, procedures, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in VMware virtualization technologies.
• Working experience managing Windows servers 2016 and newer.
• Experience with technology solutions from Pure Storage, Dell, HPE, or Cohesity.
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux administration.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
• Solid understanding of networking principles and protocols.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and services.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering, or related technical discipline, And 7 years experience supporting multiple, complex and/or advanced application or IT systems
• High School Diploma/GED And 11 years of experience supporting multiple, complex, and/or advanced applications or IT systems.

KSAs:

• Plan, prioritize, conduct, and lead assignments.
• Ability to serve as a project or case manager in the development, facilitation, and implementation of metrics, processes, and procedures.
• Exceptional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation); ability to make presentations to an internal audience.
• Exceptional troubleshooting, problem diagnosis, and resolution skills.
• Excellent initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to learn.
• Work independently with guidance in only the most complex situations.
• Ability to lead and direct the work of others.
• Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities; project management skills.
• Strong knowledge of most aspects of operating administration.
• Strong knowledge of networking/distributed computing environment concepts.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:

• May be required to work non-standard work schedules
• Extensive hours working at a PC
