We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivatedIT Support Analystto join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone with basic technical support knowledge and an interest in building maintenance. You will be responsible for providing first-level technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. Additionally, you will assist in basic building maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe and functional work environment. This is an in-the-office (Mechanicsburg, PA) position, Monday - Friday. Hybrid work is possible in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Helpdesk Support (90%):

  • Respond to user requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or ticketing system
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and antivirus programs
  • Assist with user account setup and password resets within Active Directory and Office 365
  • Support users with basic network connectivity, VPN, and Wi-Fi issues
  • Document issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in the ticketing system
  • Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and equipment setups
  • Perform routine backups and assist in disaster recovery planning
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve more complex issues

Building Maintenance Support (10%):

  • Perform routine inspections of office spaces, conference rooms, and common areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and functionality
  • Assist in basic maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, assembling office furniture, and minor repairs
  • Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance issues related to HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems as needed
  • Monitor and restock supplies for printers, copiers, and general office needs
  • Report and track building maintenance issues to ensure timely resolutions
  • Assist with office moves, including setting up IT equipment and moving furniture
  • Support building security protocols such as keycard access management

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus
  • Experience: 0-2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar role
  • Technical Skills:
    • Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365
    • Knowledge of network fundamentals (e.g., IP addresses, VPNs, Wi-Fi)
  • Soft Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills, ability to multitask, and problem-solving abilities
  • Building Maintenance: Basic handyman skills and willingness to assist in light maintenance tasks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as moving equipment and furniture
  • Must be available to work in the office
Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk)
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, user management, and group policies
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices
  • Previous experience in building maintenance or facilities management
