iParametrics is collaborating with a leading construction and facility services provider on a major project focused on ensuring the seamless integration and performance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. The project spans the construction and operational phases, requiring thorough testing, quality assurance, and commissioning to meet performance goals and long-term facility management needs. The Commissioning Associate will be instrumental in supporting the execution and oversight of these critical systems.

Job Description

As a Commissioning Associate, you will be responsible for providing technical and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle. Your duties will include conducting audits, performing system tests, tracking progress, troubleshooting issues, and producing detailed reports to ensure project systems meet safety and performance requirements. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness and functionality, while managing submittals and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Request, collect, and catalog submittals from trade partners
  • Organize and prepare project manuals and reports, ensuring all materials are properly assembled
  • Collaborate with the Facility Solutions and Commissioning teams to coordinate systems readiness and functional performance tests
  • Perform on-site field observations to verify construction status and compliance with project specifications
  • Participate in owner training, including coordination and documentation of videography efforts
  • Lead and mentor junior associates, providing guidance on project tasks and processes
  • Execute Operational Project Readiness (OPR) tasks related to MEPF technical assessments and system coordination

Basic Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in commissioning or facility services
  • CxP or CxA certification
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project sites

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)

Benefits & Compensation

As a W2 employee of iParametrics, team members are eligible for benefits such as medical, dental and vision, and the company matching 401K plan, subject to plan terms and applicable waiting periods. Compensation for this position is salary, $95,000-110,000, based on experience, background, and skills.
