Job Description

As a Portfolio Manager in Venture Capital at Augmentjobs, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of venture capital investments. You will work closely with founders, analyze new investment opportunities, monitor performance, and provide strategic guidance to the companies within the portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of venture capital markets, startup ecosystems, and portfolio management best practices. You will play a critical role in identifying high-potential opportunities, managing risk, and maximizing the value of investments for both Augmentjobs and its clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of venture capital investments.
  • Conduct in-depth due diligence on potential investments, assessing the risks and opportunities.
  • Work closely with portfolio companies to support their growth, providing strategic advice and mentorship.
  • Monitor financial performance, market trends, and operational metrics to ensure the portfolio meets investment objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, co-investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates on portfolio performance for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead exit strategies and work on liquidity events for portfolio companies when applicable.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to identify new opportunities and optimize portfolio performance.
