Software Application Business Analysis

o Work directly with the Product Owner to:

  • Understand business priorities and translate them into actionable user stories.
  • Assist with and refine the product backlog, ensuring it is well-organized, prioritized, and clearly understood by the development team.
  • Facilitate the definition of story requirements and acceptance criteria, collaborating with stakeholders to clarify feature details and ensure alignment with business goals.

Scrum Master Responsibilities:

o Lead and facilitate all Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

o Support the development team by removing impediments and ensuring they have the resources and information needed to meet sprint goals.

o Track and report on key delivery metrics, such as story points delivered, planned vs. actual story points, team productivity, quality, and defect rates.

o Manage and maintain the Jira board, ensuring accurate and up-to-date tracking of team progress and work items.

Technical and Functional Analysis

o Investigate and analyze business processes and data flows to identify areas for improvement and to ensure that solutions meet business needs.

o Prepare detailed documentation of business processes, data flow diagrams, and functional specifications as required.

o Collaborate with development teams to ensure that technical solutions align with functional requirements and business objectives.

o Provide domain expertise in environmental services and fleet management, including geo-fencing, route optimization, and other related technologies.

Stakeholder Engagement:

o Serve as the primary point of contact between the development team and business stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

o Manage stakeholder expectations, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns or changes in requirements
