  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Title: Sr. EMS Analyst

Location: Hybrid (1 week a quarter onsite in NY)

Responsibilities:

  • Build displays in EMS GE PowerOn system.
  • Develop and maintain EMS and SCADA system standards
  • Develop and deploy EMS calculations as required
  • Modify EMS databases and displays as required
  • Update, monitor, and maintain the reliability of the Energy Management System (EMS) application.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EMS system issues promptly.
  • Perform database analysis in response to data requests from Engineering and Capital Construction and Operations and Maintenance organizations.
  • Verify system operation, database integrity, and data presentation effectiveness on a routine basis
  • Assist with all regulatory reporting for NYISO, NERC, FERC, and other regions as needed
  • Provide administrative support with logistics and deliverables of internal and external audits as needed

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience of building displays in EMS GE PowerOn system
  • Experience in updating, monitoring, and maintaining EMS applications.
  • Must be self-motivated, disciplined and possess effective skills necessary for job
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills to plan and conduct meetings and presentations.
  • Capability to develop user-friendly documentation for individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills.
