Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Legal Senior Manager to oversee and lead the legal aspects of Workday implementations, focusing on compliance, contract management, and risk mitigation. Demonstrate leadership on Inbound Legal matters, driving strategic initiatives across the organization to facilitate growth, and reduce unnecessary risk. Provide strategic leadership to the Inbound Legal Team and business clients on RFPs, contract template creation and utilization, contract negotiation, renewals, and dispute resolution.
An ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal management within the Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the legal workstream for Workday implementations, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advise on legal matters, including data privacy, compliance, contracts, and intellectual property.
Review and manage legal documents, including software licensing agreements, contracts, and compliance reports related to Workday deployments.
Oversee risk management strategies and ensure legal risks are minimized during Workday implementation and post-go-live phases.
Ensure Workday systems are configured in a way that complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including labor laws, privacy regulations, and financial compliance.
Serve as the point of contact for internal legal counsel and external legal advisors in matters related to Workday projects.
Stay informed about evolving legal regulations and industry best practices, particularly in relation to cloud-based HR and financial systems.
Train and mentor junior legal staff involved in Workday projects.
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in legal management, with a focus on technology and software implementations.
Strong understanding of Workday and its legal implications, including data privacy, employment law, and contract management.
Experience managing legal aspects of SaaS implementations, preferably within Workday s ecosystem.
Expertise in compliance, risk management, and contract negotiations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.
Law degree (JD or equivalent) and licensed to practice law in [jurisdiction].
Experience in legal project management and working within large-scale ERP or HRIS implementations.
