Role Overview

The Lead Product Manager position is an exciting opportunity to join a stealth-stage company led by a successful YC founder. We are looking for a highly productive individual who excels in both product management and design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taking products from concept (0) to launch (1), with exceptional skills in driving requirements to engineering teams swiftly and effectively. This role is critical in maintaining a robust backlog of engineering work, increasing team velocity, and ensuring the successful delivery of our products.

As the Lead Product Manager, you will possess excellent product judgment and a keen intuition for building enterprise software. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and executive leadership, to drive product vision and execution. This position offers the opportunity to significantly impact our product strategy as the CEO transitions into a more strategic role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals.
  • Utilize design tools to effectively communicate ideas and visualize concepts.
  • Provide high-level wireframes or concepts to align the team and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate faster iteration by creating simple designs or modifying existing ones in Figma.
  • Translate business objectives into detailed requirements and user stories.
  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog to keep engineering teams engaged and productive.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of product features.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align on product goals and expectations.
  • Lead the product development process from ideation to launch for 0-1 products.
  • Stay updated on industry trends to keep our products competitive and innovative.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in product management.
  • Demonstrated ability to increase team velocity and productivity.
  • Proven track record of managing and launching new products successfully.
  • Strong experience with design tools, particularly Figma.
  • Exceptional product judgment and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in driving requirements to engineering teams quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating with global teams.

  • Experience in a leadership role managing cross-functional teams.
  • Previous experience in a high-growth startup environment.
