What is my role?

As a Planner, you will be responsible for collaborating with teams to develop pre-season plans & in-season forecasting, analyzing sales, ensuring we are meeting contract sales requirements and providing weekly licensed selling reports, as well as any other financial data requested by licensor or internal partners.

What You'll Do

Planning/Forecasting

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop pre-season annual financial plans for our Top 10 Licensors & Retailers that align with the overall company strategy
  • Use analytical tools, forecasting techniques and intel from collaborating with Sales and Licensing to develop accurate demand forecasts
  • Track performance to plan and communicate any issues or opportunities
  • Assist in budgeting processes related to licensor partnership and ensure financial objectives are met

Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of licensor partnerships against key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize performance and profitability.
  • Provide Retail Sales reporting to each licensor
  • Conduct analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within specific licensor segments. Provide actionable insights to inform decision-making processes.

Contract Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and obligations.

Data Maintenance

  • Partner with Licensing team & Master Data team to ensure we are capturing data that will allow us to meet partner s needs

Data Entry

  • Submit approved forecasts into licensors system

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including licensing, sales, planning and creative to ensure teams are aligned to our goals

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience as a business analyst, strategic planner, or similar role within the apparel industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Advanced Microsoft excel user (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
  • Familiarity with licensing agreements, contract management, and intellectual property rights is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of current pop culture is a big plus for this role
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven mindset
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively across the organization
