Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle PPM Lead to drive the implementation, customization, and ongoing support of Oracle's Project Portfolio Management (PPM) module.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP, specifically with the PPM suite, and a proven track record of successful end-to-end Oracle PPM implementations.
You will be responsible for leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring the PPM module is optimized to support the organization s project management, budgeting, and financial goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle PPM modules, including Project Financials, Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Management, and Resource Management.
Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and functional teams to gather and document business requirements, ensuring they align with Oracle PPM functionalities.
Drive the integration of Oracle PPM with other Oracle Cloud ERP modules such as Procurement, Finance, and Human Capital Management (HCM).
Design and configure business processes to support the company s project lifecycle from initiation to close, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Lead user training and create comprehensive documentation to support Oracle PPM module use and best practices.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle PPM post-implementation, resolving issues in collaboration with Oracle support and internal IT teams.
Develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics using Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) tools to support business decision-making.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Oracle PPM, performing regular audits and validations.
Manage and mentor junior functional and technical staff, providing leadership and guidance throughout the implementation process.
Stay up to date with Oracle s PPM updates, enhancements, and best practices, proactively recommending improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud PPM or Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) PPM modules.
Strong understanding of project and portfolio management processes, including cost control, budgeting, and resource allocation.
Experience with Oracle Financials integration and other modules within Oracle Cloud ERP.
Proven track record of leading at least two end-to-end Oracle PPM implementations.
Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions and configurations.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Familiarity with Agile or other project management methodologies.
Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) tools for reporting and analytics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle PPM Certification is highly desirable.
Experience in data migration and system integration.
Knowledge of Oracle Application Express (APEX) for custom development is a plus.
Experience in investment management, construction, or other industries that rely on project portfolio management.
