Remote Position

Position Overview: This position focuses on conducting account reconciliations for year-to-date data in preparation for audits. The Financial Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for compiling and analyzing financial data, identifying discrepancies, and preparing correcting entries. This role requires a strong understanding of financial transactions, attention to detail, and effective collaboration with internal finance teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and analyze financial data related to Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Identify variances in financial data and prepare the necessary correcting entries.
  • Utilize various data sources to track transactions and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Gain an understanding of the General Ledger (GL) accounting structure and its impact on reconciliations.
  • Work closely with internal finance teams to understand the coding and financial impact of specific transactions.
  • Communicate findings and required adjusting entries to the finance management team.

Requirements:
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and ready to take a hands-on approach to solve problems.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining the quality and accuracy of work.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
  • : Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment.
  • Demonstrates accountability for personal work and takes ownership of tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a strong understanding of pivot tables, vlookups, and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus, but not required.
