Position Overview:

As the A-Shift Master Electrician, you will oversee electrical projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational excellence. Your expertise in industrial electrical systems will be critical in troubleshooting, maintaining, and improving electrical controls and systems within the facility. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Compensation:

Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $105,000 to $109,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee electrical projects, including writing scopes and adhering to NEC standards
  • Troubleshoot and maintain industrial electrical systems, including AC/DC circuits and PLC systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures
  • Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems, such as bearings, gears, and hydraulic components
  • Maintain documentation and reports related to electrical maintenance and safety
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in electronic technology or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial maintenance and electrical controls
  • Valid electrician’s license as required by state or local regulations

Desired Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with all levels of team members and management
  • High-level critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Good safety and attendance record

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Windows-based software (Outlook, Excel, Word) and SAP Plant Maintenance
  • Familiarity with electronic devices, industrial control systems, and PLC operation
  • Basic microcomputer skills to understand microprocessor operations
