A TekStream client, an industry leading software company that provides management solutions primarily to law firms, is seeking a Workday HRIS Specialist. This is a Full-Time, Salaried, Direct Hire opportunity, and it is Hybrid (in the Perimeter area Atlanta office 3 days/week).
The Workday HRIS Specialist will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of our HRIS systems, with a focus on the Workday platform, ensuring that the HR systems meet the needs of the organization and provide efficient solutions for HR processes & automation.
Responsibilities:
- Own system configuration, including implementation of new releases.
- Provide support for HCM functional area: business process changes, notifications, alerts.
- Provide reporting and analysis support to HRIS, HR Operations, Managers, and Senior Leadership teams.
- Assist in optimization and process improvements of current modules (HCM, Onboarding, Talent, Performance, and Advanced Compensation).
- Gain efficiency by recommending and implementing/configuring improvements or enhancements to ensure data integrity across HR.
- Develop Workday reports to provide key trends and insights for business leaders, including recruitment and retention, compensation, and DEI.
- Enhance employee, manager, and HR dashboards to meet reporting needs and provide data insights to stakeholders.
- Own the system’s security protocols or role assignments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues related to the Workday system.
- Own communication with Workday support and vendors for advanced issue resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective utilization of Workday features and functionalities for demonstrations of leadership or company-wide project launches.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, Finance, and other relevant departments, providing expertise and guidance on Workday-related matters.
- Work closely with colleagues in the HRIS team to plan, prepare, and support testing internal changes and bi-annual releases for Workday.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with Workday in HCM and deep understanding in Workday security protocols including updating domain, business process policy, and user group assignments. and set up.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with People Analytics, Adaptive Planning, PowerBI, Slides, and/or Composite Reports is a definite plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Workday certification is highly desirable.
- Experience in project management and process improvement.
