Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Air Freight, Ocean, Road, and Rail at a well known Freight forwarder in Texas . The Head will be responsible for overseeing the transportation logistics operations across air, ocean, road, and rail, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics management for air freight, ocean, road, and rail
  • Knowledge of shipping regulations and compliance
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in logistics software and systems
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Five (5) years freight forwarding operations or account management experience preferred
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volume of transactions
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to coordinate efforts with other organizations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Team oriented
