About The Role

The Product Designer collaborates with product and engineering teams to create user-centered design solutions for the company's products and brands. This role plays a crucial part in a team that shapes the interfaces, experiences, and branding for web and mobile app experiences.

Requirements

- Design, prototype, and develop elegant and on-brand solutions from concept to high fidelity for mobile and web applications.

- Identify user needs, sketch solutions with prototypes, test ideas, and refine designs based on data and user feedback.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, technical constraints, needs, and complex project challenges.

- Act as a mentor for other designers on the team.

- Stay updated on current industry trends and market conditions.

- Consider usability and accessibility when designing new products.

- Work with all teams to ensure that design deliverables are prioritized and delivered on time.

Experience

- 2+ years of experience leading large-scale UX and design projects for a Business to Consumer Subscription service.

- 4+ years of experience in product design, interaction design, or UI/UX design.

- Proven experience with web and native mobile applications in an eCommerce environment, along with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities it presents.

- Experience in building and maintaining streamlined UI/UX workflows and style guides from concept to execution.

- Familiarity with modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, Invision, etc.).

- Experience guiding both the visual and interaction design of projects across web and mobile platforms.

- Ability to contemplate long-term sustainability in all designs and maintain perspectives of reusability.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced remote working environment.

- Demonstrated effective Product thinking and a user-centered design process.

- A strong visual portfolio with multiple examples of web and mobile design, as well as projects demonstrating work in an eCommerce context.
