  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a CAD engineer with experience in both Catia V5 and Creo!

The ideal candidate will develop and design engineering documentation, such as drawings, 3D models and CAD modules/assemblies. They will help mature the product in the CAD system.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Redesign existing models (e.g., redesign of small areas etc.). Product and procedures are given; however, the work requires experience and the capacity to perform analysis and draw conclusions
  • Design components in CAD
  • Create assemblies of CAD models, and detect, report, and resolve packaging conflicts
  • Secure quality and readiness before release
  • Define how to use the drawing as the basis for verifying the product geometrical properties
  • Produce technical drawings that are sufficient to define a product


Requirements
  • Position requires 5 years relevant experience
  • Degree in engineering or relevant field
  • Supporting junior team members and peers
  • Role model of lifelong learning, sharing knowledge and developing others as a trainer and/or coach
  • May be digging deeper in own discipline, but is building broader Tshaped profile
  • Developing influence and working confidently within the wider Volvo Group network
  • Clear articulation of how he/she is creating value within their part for the TD/BA
