Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Woodlands, TX (100% Onsite)

Duration: long-term contract

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to join our team in Woodlands, TX. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-process, release, and stability testing of manufactured products, as well as raw material testing. This role requires a strong understanding of laboratory procedures, GMP regulations, and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct testing and analysis using various instrumental methods (Spectrophotometer, HPLC, CGE, ELISA Assays, Gel Electrophoresis, qPCR) and non-instrumental methods (wet chemical methods).
  • Perform 96-Well Plate Analysis Technique (Microtiter Plate) for biofilm formation studies.
  • Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, including spectrophotometers (with weekly performance checks).
  • Ensure compliance with departmental procedures, policies, and GMP regulations.
  • Support performance targets, monitor actual performance, and implement corrective actions (CAPA) as needed.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing team for laboratory-related issues and Root Cause investigations.
  • Participate in Process and Equipment Validation projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and perform laboratory maintenance tasks.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Control or laboratory setting.
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, GMP regulations, and analytical techniques.
  • Experience with 96-Well Plate Analysis Technique (Microtiter Plate), Spectrophotometer, HPLC, CGE, and ELISA Assays.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced GMP environment.
