About This Role:
Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a talented EDIS SME! to serve as a liaison and support to The Navy's Family Readiness Program, Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS). The analyst assists the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery by supporting the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) on military installations.

As the EDIS Analyst, you will work directly with the on-site Coordinators and Case Liaisons as a subject matter expert of the program to include policy interpretation, compliance, and reporting.
As a valued resource and subject matter expert this high profile and rewarding position is essential to the success of the EDIS program. Activities also include involvement in high-level program inquiries, policies in final format in accordance with government formats and guidelines across military health system.

EDIS Analysts assists Navy families with special needs to include:
  • Program support for early intervention programs
  • Developmental requirements and Special Education requirements
  • Accessibility/Adaptive equipment
  • Assistive Technology devices and services
This opportunity is onsite. Currently hybrid, 1-2 days on site.

Responsibilities:
  • U.S. Citizens who meet and comply with the Personnel Security Investigation Requirements and obtain the necessary security clearance to perform duties as assigned
  • Understanding of Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS)
  • Understanding of military environment
  • Prior active duty or beneficiary preferred
  • Experience with Special Needs Program Management Information System (SNPMS) preferred
  • Master's degree in allied health, Special Education, or an associated technical discipline in addition to 3 years minimum experience with Individuals with Disability Education Act (IDEA) services including Early Intervention and Related Services
  • In lieu of a Master's degree, Bachelor's Degree in Allied Health, Special Education, or an associated technical discipline in addition to 3 years minimum experience with Individuals with Disability Education Act (IDEA) services including Early Intervention and Related Services
  • Familiarity with data collection and analysis through a compilation of multiple sources
  • Personality attributes include flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude
The "Need-to-Have" Skills & Qualifications:
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Excellent skills in multitasking, prioritization and planning, schedule management, and the coordination of complex executive functions
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Preferred experience in a military health environment and an understanding of the military organization
Education:

Bachelor's degree (preferred) and 3 years of experience with Individuals with Disability Education Act (IDEA) services including early intervention and related servicesClearance:

3 years of experience
