The Role

Our Portfolio Director plays a key role in shaping and executing the brand strategy for our Watershed Distillery portfolio. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, Portfolio Directors are responsible for leading the development and implementation of comprehensive brand plans to enhance brand equity, drive consumer engagement, and contribute to overall business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong brand management and commercial strategy experience, with a deep understanding of market trends, digital marketing, and the desire to be a to be a strong cross-functional teammate.

What You’ll Do

Brand Positioning And Messaging

  • Define and articulate the brand’s positioning, ensuring consistency across all communication channels.
  • Develop compelling and differentiated brand messaging to resonate with target audiences.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials and campaigns that align with the brand strategy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with key stakeholders and other departments to ensure brand consistency and alignment.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and partners to execute integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Provide guidance and support to the commercial marketing team to ensure successful implementation of brand initiatives.

Brand Performance Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of brand initiatives.
  • Conduct regular market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make recommendations for continuous improvement.

Budget Management

  • Manage the brand budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to achieve business objectives.
  • Track expenditures and provide regular budget updates.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • 7+ years in brand management, with a proven track record of managing brand building campaigns, product launches, regional activations, and revenue growth
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to streamline operational processes and drive efficiency using technology, with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
  • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and consumer preferences
  • Ability to thrive and inspire in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
  • EOS experience a plus

Minimum Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license
  • Light lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling may be required
