Position Summary

The Vice President, Reblozyl Marketing reports directly to the Vice President, US Hematology. This role will be responsible for P&L and driving matrix teams and co-promotion teams to grow overall Reblozyl brand performance. This individual will lead all brand initiatives managing multiple direct reports, brand, matrix teams, and co-promotion teams. This person will be responsible for leading and delivering brand and functional plans within the matrix the organization. This individual will need to effectively work with the Market Access organization to partner with the Market Access Strategy Leads including Healthcare Provider Systems, B2B partners, GPOs and physician networks. The Vice President, Reblozyl Marketing will partner with the VP sales to support the initiatives of sales consultants in the Myeloid sales sleeves. This role will also be responsible for presenting business updates and special projects to executive leadership (US GM, CCO). This person will also be responsible for leading the Acceleron-BMS joint operating team (JOT) to support the joint commercial committee (JCC) team efforts.

This role will be responsible for working closely with global and project management to effectively plan LCM efforts. The executive director Reblozyl marketing will also sit on the Lymphoma Myeloid leadership team and will play a key role sharing learnings, best practices and strategic input to maximize growth for the lymphoma myeloid portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead brand marketing team by providing strategic direction and prioritizing initiatives to drive multiple brand performance.
  • Lead and partner with Market Access functions to manage B2B, GPOs and networks short and long-term brand engagement strategies for physician network, health provider systems and stakeholder channels.
  • Partner with the ED of hematology portfolio marketing to drive execution and oversee development of channel segment marketing strategies to identify needs of specific stakeholders relevant to the brands.
  • Lead marketing team to provide strategic direction to internal stakeholders for any brand needs related to physician network, health provider systems and stakeholder channels
  • Lead life cycle management initiatives for Reblozyl.
  • Partner with the VP of sales to support field initiatives for the Myeloid Sales Sleeve.
  • Partner with BIA and market research to provide strategic input for advancing commercial data requirements driven by internal/external customer insights
  • Lead teams to drive KOL engagement for MDS and BT.
  • Strategically evaluates the need for new resources to address a customer need, in line with brand strategic imperatives.
  • Staff, develop and manage team performance.
  • Provide business updates to executive leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical experience with a background in marketing, and/or sales and market access.
  • Demonstrated track record managing a brand as a pharmaceutical marketer.
  • Track record for driving brand performance through collaboration and strategic thinking.
  • Strong communication skills to provide expectations and strategic vision for other functions.
  • Initiative, creativity, and ability to work effectively in a complex, rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrated learning agility and ability manage multiple tasks.
  • Track record for driving results by staffing, building and managing teams.
  • Proven team player with ability to navigate and collaborate cross functionally.
  • Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred.
