RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking an Information Security Analyst. The Information Security Analyst is responsible for protecting an organization's information systems and networks by implementing and monitoring security protocols, detecting and responding to security incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and regulations. This role involves working closely with IT, corporate users, and cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and mitigate security threats.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain the email filter gateway
* Manage and maintain the IDR solution
* Manage and maintain the EDR solution
* Manage and maintain the Information Security awareness and training platform
* Monitor vulnerabilities across corporate assets and collaborate with IT to implement mitigation strategies
* Respond to security alerts, perform root-cause analyses, and implement recovery measures
* Promote a culture of security by educating employees on cybersecurity best practices
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or relevant information security certificates (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+)
* 2+ years of hands-on experience in security roles
* Hands-on experience with the following tools is desired, and knowledge of the technology
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and risk management practices
* Good communication skills for explaining complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Experience with:
* Rapid7 SIEM and IDR suite
* Rapid7 IVM
* Avanan email gateway
* Zoho Patch Manager
* SentinelOne EDR
* ServiceNow ticketing system
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
