Shatterproof was founded in 2013 to fill the gap for a well-funded, national, coordinated effort to reverse the course of the addiction health crisis, with the singular goal of ending the devastation addiction is causing our families. We know there are science-based solutions that can prevent and treat this disease, and we are committed to what research has proven to be effective. We have identified three priority pillars: transforming addiction treatment, ending addiction stigma, and educating and empowering communities.

Transforming Addiction Treatment: Shatterproof is transforming the U.S. healthcare system for the more than 49 million Americans living with a substance use disorder (SUD). Like anyone suffering from a disease, those with this disease deserve access to treatment that is based on science, complemented by a supportive recovery community, both free of shame and stigma. Removing barriers to lifesaving treatment is a core mission focus of Shatterproof.

Ending Addiction Stigma: Shatterproof’s National Stigma Initiative replicates the success of other transformational social movements—such as HIV/AIDS activism, cancer awareness, and marriage equality—in catalyzing the change needed to create a more tolerant, more compassionate, and healthier future. We are committed to creating solutions that are adept at changing attitudes and behaviors and ultimately closing SUD treatment gaps and health inequities for historically disadvantaged populations who experience compounded discrimination and bias.

THE ROLE

Oversee all IT operations, including all Shatterproof’s digital assets, Azure environment, helpdesk support services, SAAS, contracts, and the integration of new projects into the portfolio. The Director will also act as the Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Shatterproof systems and assets, including Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, websites hosted in Drupal and Pantheon, Azure databases and Azure Data Factory. Additionally, the Director will manage a team of IT professionals, providing mentorship and technical leadership.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Strategic IT Leadership:
• Lead the development and implementation of a robust IT strategy aligned with Shatterproof’s mission and goals
• Provide oversight of all IT operations, including cloud infrastructure, databases, websites, and digital platforms
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing technical guidance and promoting continuous skill development
• Foster a collaborative team culture that emphasizes innovation, customer service, and accountability
• Technical SME:
• Serve as the Technical Subject Matter Expert for key systems, including Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, websites on Drupal and WordPress, Patheon, Azure databases, Azure Data Factory, Power BI and Google Analytics
• Ensure these systems are optimized, secure, and integrated effectively to support organizational operations
• IT Operations Management:
• Oversee the management of Shatterproof’s Azure environment, ensuring performance, security, and scalability
• Ensure smooth operations of websites hosted on Drupal, WordPress, and Pantheon, managing uptime and performance
• Administer Azure Data Factory and databases, ensuring efficient data processing and secure storage
• Helpdesk Support and SAAS Management:
• Lead helpdesk support services, ensuring a high level of customer service and timely resolution of technical issues
• Manage and optimize SAAS solutions, including contract oversight and vendor relationships
• Project Integration and Management:
• Lead the integration of new IT projects, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with existing infrastructure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success, supporting technology adoption across departments
• Contract and Vendor Management:
• Oversee IT contracts, including vendor management, negotiation, and ensuring compliance with service agreements
• Identify opportunities to enhance the organization's technology stack and improve operational efficiency through strategic partnerships

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus
• Extensive experience in IT operations management, including leadership and direct team management experience
• Expertise in managing multiple platforms Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Drupal, WordPress, Pantheon, Azure databases, and Azure Data Factory
• In-depth experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure), databases, and digital platforms
• Strong project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project integration
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Salesforce Administrator, ITIL) are highly desirable
  
  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• The salary for this position is $125,000
