  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Title: Business Technology Liaison Manager
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $115,000 - $135,000 per year

Position Overview:
As a Business Technology Liaison Manager, you will be responsible for connecting business strategy with technology solutions to improve organizational performance. The role emphasizes understanding the business's needs and ensuring that technology enhances operations. You will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, guiding projects related to marketing technology (MarTech) and ensuring smooth communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Business and Technology Alignment: Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, understanding their needs and translating them into business requirements for the development team.
  • Project Leadership, not a Project Manager: Lead business initiatives on the front-end, adding in project planning, removing roadblocks, managing vendors, and ensuring smooth operations.
  • Vendor Management: Oversee relationships with external vendors, ensuring contract terms are met and negotiating effectively to benefit the organization.
  • MarTech Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and business teams to implement solutions involving Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and other MarTech tools.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams to support web-based projects, content management solutions, and virtual event platforms.
  • Communication and Leadership: Maintain consistent communication with both business and technical teams, fostering trust and transparency in all project phases.
Qualifications:
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of how technology impacts business strategy, with experience working in a role that bridges business and technology teams.
  • MarTech Knowledge: Familiarity with key MarTech tools, such as Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Content Management Systems (CMS). Experience with virtual event tools like MS Teams and Zoom is a plus.
  • Aiding with Project Management: While this is not a direct project management role, a working knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred to facilitate effective project planning and execution.
  • Leadership Style: Ability to coach and guide a small team, providing support without micromanaging. The candidate should be comfortable in a flexible, yet established environment.
  • Vendor Relations: Experience in managing external vendors, contract negotiations, and overseeing vendor-driven solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communicator who can navigate both technical and business landscapes, building strong relationships with various stakeholders.
