JOB SUMMARY
Works independently and is responsible for overseeing the operational frameworks of both parking services and customer service within Auxiliary Enterprises. Participates in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures. Leads performance improvement initiatives, audits current procedures, coordinates data collection and analysis to enhance parking operations and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, a commitment to operational excellence, and a focus on enhancing the customer experience across both parking operations and customer service.

    Bachelor's Degree In business administration or other related field or equivalent experience

    3 years In a supervisory capacity.

JOB DUTIES
    • Oversees the daily operations of Auxiliary Enterprises and its various components, ensuring compliance with university, local, state, and federal policies and regulations.
    • Collaborates, monitors, manages and oversees the creation of the department's operational processes, procedure, policies, forms, and workflows, including but not limited to: performance Improvements initiatives, orienting and training staff on specific processes and service standards, and ensuring staff has the tools and resources necessary to perform assigned tasks.
    • Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
    • Plans and implements capital improvement projects to ensure upkeep and enhancement of existing facilities and business systems.
    • Participates in and coordinates the design and implementation of data collection and analysis systems for the department to include computer, and/or network systems, applications programs, and administrative procedures.
    • Reviews and interprets financial and operating information, as appropriate; coordinates and develops periodic operating analyses, and prepares financial/business reports for Director; may participate in the preparation of contract proposals, and other reports provided by the department.
    • Provides advice and assistance to senior management in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of modifications to existing operations, systems, and procedures.
    • Represents the department at various business meetings; promotes existing and new programs and/or policies.
    • Oversees the supervision of one or more specified operating and/or service activities within the department, as appropriate.
    • Helps develop annual operating budgets and provides fiscal direction to the department.
    • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
