Job Description:

  • The Social Media Architect candidate will have extensive experience in social media architecture, data migration, and SharePoint, with a strong focus on security, privacy, and data governance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the migration from Meta Workplace to the new platform, including strategy, design, and implementation.
  • Develop a comprehensive migration strategy, including architecture design and timelines.
  • Analyze existing platform content and APIs to facilitate data migration.
  • Identify technology gaps with the new platform and develop solutions to address these gaps.
  • Collaborate closely with branding, content, marketing departments, and internal teams to ensure cohesive migration efforts.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of social media architecture and integration with platforms like SharePoint.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy and governance regulations.
  • Provide hands-on guidance throughout the data migration process.
  • Serve as a technical leader and problem-solver for large-scale social media architecture initiatives.

Candidate Needs to Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in social media architecture, with a proven ability to lead large-scale projects from start to finish.
  • Experience with Meta (or Facebook) Workplace and/or similar platforms.
  • Experience in architecting and implementing social media strategies.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze social media performance metrics.
  • Previous experience interacting with online communities and responding to inquiries.
  • Strong knowledge of API integration and automation tools.
  • Extensive experience with data migration, specifically within social media platforms.
  • Expertise with SharePoint and its integration with other systems.
  • Strong understanding of security, data privacy, and data governance practices.
  • Experience evaluating and piloting new technologies.
  • Proven ability to oversee the technical infrastructure of application systems, including databases, programming languages, and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of custom off-the-shelf (COTS) systems and niche technologies like e-commerce systems.
