SUMMARY:

The Product Line Manager is responsible for driving commercial excellence for the respective product line(s) of the SaniSure Group. This role is responsible for putting the right product mix in place to reach short-term and long-term sales budgets (revenues, order intake and profitability). In close collaboration with Marketing and Sales this person will develop high performing marketing campaigns including the overall playbook for sales. This role regularly interfaces with key leaders across the company to facilitate the timely completion of critical initiatives including senior executives, key customer contacts, external partners, and various functional leaders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Expedite Sales Orders for the product line(s)
  • Develop product portfolio(s) and roadmap(s) to achieve long and short-term business growth and budget targets of the Sanisure Group
  • Develop a portfolio and marketing mix (product, price, promotion) that allows easy cross-selling and/or develops hierarchical cross-selling strategies with the help of e.g., anchor products (e.g., establish PAC strategies)
  • Evaluate customer needs and create the right rationales for standard (or configurable) vs. customized products and solutions
  • Drive standardization and create added value for customers and for Sanisure (i.e., delivery performance, delivery reliability, faster and cost-effective manufacturing, etc.
  • Collaborate with supply chain on product availability in different geographies, considering working capital, expirations, etc.
  • Develop business plans and business models as well as other rationales for the portfolio development and maintenance (including CLV if applicable)
  • Analyze market trends, markets segments and business potential in collaboration with Sales Management (unmet needs vs. competitor positioning). Run NPS etc., -> Run a different race not the same race faster
  • Set priorities for the development roadmap together with Product Development
  • Create proposals for strategic moves (acquisitions, partnerships), develop rational and present proposal to executive team
  • Active part of Due Diligence (portfolio assessment, Go to Market, Business Plan and Model, etc.)
  • Participates in contract negotiations with portfolio partners
  • Lead customer (co-developments) and portfolio partnerships together with Product Development and/or Corp. Development
  • Prepare material(s) for the Stage Gate processes together with Product Development
  • Execute effective product launches (including launch packages, Sales play books, price guidelines, stock levels of MTS products, and after sales service, etc.)
  • Create with marketing communications with effective and creative marketing campaigns (including Application notes, Webinars, Customer journeys, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Sales to establish/create selling tools (e.g., configurators, process simulation software etc.)
  • Assist with customer RFQs as needed
  • Provide Technical support to the Sales Force
  • Responsible for the cost budget for the product line(s)
  • Drive effective cooperation and collaboration with internal stakeholders, Marketing, R&D, Quality (Customer Complaints), Supply Chain (delivery performance and reliability) and Sales
  • Establish targeted KPIs to drive global growth (track vitality index, number of trials per region, number of prototypes per region, leads, time to launch, revenue, order development of product lines and newly launched products against budget (also by territory).
  • Creates corrective actions if needed (tighter with sales, Product Development etc.)
  • Define potential Pricing moves, evaluates, and selects the best options to drive Commercial Excellence. For example, PAC strategies, value-based pricing, Margin vs. pricing power, etc.) including OEM and Private Label Pricing
  • Develop and maintain a price list by geography for standard products.
  • Network with key decision makers, opinion leaders, industry associations to anticipate market trends, regulatory and technology developments.
  • Give presentations at conferences and/or customers locations

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS or MBA in Business Administration with a specialization in Product and Brand Management
  • 3+ years experience in Sales, Field Marketing with additional skills in Project Management and/or Applications Specialist.
  • Experienced in channel distribution, including management of independent biopharmaceutical process distributors by region, and direct OEM accounts, preferably in life science tubing, fitting markets, or componentry markets.
  • Experienced with Single Use technologies. Specific tubing knowledge (products, markets etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with portfolio integrations from either partners or acquired companies.
  • Experience executing pricing initiatives and product launches (role outs) in the field of responsibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload while working independently and with teams.
  • Demonstrated project management skills that support the achievement of project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication/presentation skills.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Professionalism and a high level of customer focus.
  • Self-motivated and self-managed (capable of working from a remote location with limited supervision).
  • Must be a creative thinker (thinks out of the box).

  • Able to travel domestic and international up to 20% of time.
