SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated QA Automation Engineer Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role. You will work closely with our QA team, developers, and product managers to design, develop, and maintain automation scripts to ensure the quality and stability of our software products. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and develop your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with the QA and development teams to understand project requirements, identify testing needs, and develop test cases.

Write and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, or equivalent.

Assist in the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and API testing.

Report defects, track issues, and verify fixes using bug-tracking tools like JIRA.

Work on integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices.

Support manual testing efforts when required to supplement automated testing.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.).

Familiarity with automation tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or Cypress.

Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Previous internship experience in software testing or development is a bonus.
