Fulltime/Perm position- must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship based on client requirements.
Location: 4 days a week onsite in Mount Laurel, NJ - open to candidates that would prefer to sit in NYC office.
Our media/entertainment client is looking for a hands on Manager of Network Security (50/50 hands on technical work and managerial). As Manager of Network Security, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network security solutions to protect our organization's digital infrastructure from cyber threats. As such, you will be focused on protecting the organization and will be responsible for enterprise firewall and network security estate including devices, services, configurations, controls and strategic implementations.
Top Skills:

• Must come from an enterprise environment and collaborate across IT and security Groups. Need strong soft skills to communicate with leaders across groups. Leading a group of 4.
• Strong Palo Alto design/architect experience. Architect design review board meetings
• Level 3-4 networking skill (1-3 network edge, route/switch, network terminating points)
• Aws or Azure Cloud Connectivity.
• 50% management vs. 50% hands on technical work.
  • Management consist of working with vendors on the MAC team & Ops team this resource will own the environment from a design level.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee network security engineering, configuration, monitoring, alerting and maintenance of all enterprise network security equipment including firewalls, network access control systems, and network detection and response platforms.

• Manage managed firewall vendor and other key network security relationships and monitor the overall performance quality of these vendors.
• Proactively review and analyze existing firewall configurations to identify potential areas for improvement, security best practices, and performance optimization.
• Define, review, and advise on firewall operational requirements including guidelines, baselines, and SOPs for managed firewall operations group.
• Lead the design, delivery, and operationalizing of processes and SOPs for firewall and network security platforms across the enterprise.
• Research, identify and define key areas of improvement on existing network and firewall configurations and services.
• Lead, drive, and oversee the emerging and firewall and network security solutions and services from projects to BAU operations.
• Define and drive key process improvement for existing solutions by working closely with internal teams and vendors.
• Manage and implement projects and technology upgrades including evaluations and recommendations for security and control configurations.
• Provide technical domain guidance and expertise to stakeholders and business units as and when needed with regards to firewall services.
• Oversee documentation and analysis of firewall logs and records to identify and react to any network threats or unauthorized changes to settings.
• Provide regular Firewall & Network Security Operations updates for management reporting.
