Telecom Engineer

As a Telecom Engineer, you'll be responsible for configuring and deploying VOIP phones, assisting with VOIP migrations, and developing call routing plans. You'll work with call center teams, manage telecom infrastructure setups, and provide hands-on support for moves, adds, and changes. Travel may be required to maintain telecom systems at various locations.

In this role, you'll also offer end-user training, document telecom configurations, and escalate issues to telecom vendors when needed.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of telecom support experience
• communication, teamwork, and customer service skills

Preferred:

• Project management abilities
• Experience with call center design and telecom problem resolution
• Familiarity with Avaya, Cisco, and Microsoft Office tools

responsibilities:

• Setup and deploy VOIP phones on a hosted service, with prior experience being an advantage.
• Migrate VOIP services between different hosted providers.
• Coordinate large-scale phone deployments and design Direct Inward Dialing (DID) setups.
• Develop and implement call routing plans in collaboration with service providers, and maintain or set up new telecom infrastructure.
• Provide end-user training, document telecom configurations, and work with service providers to resolve issues.
