You’ll work with senior management, front-end developers, and QA teams to translate concepts into solutions that are consistent with Skechers brand standards. You’ll help create designs to be implemented on the US website, Android & iOS apps, and email, while creating customizations (as needed) to support differences in locale and language for Skechers’ growing international eCommerce business.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Translate concepts and ideas into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for multiple viewports and devices.
  • Present UX / UI concepts to cross-functional teams and senior management for buy-in, feedback, and approvals.
  • Participate in design critiques and discussions with other UX design team members, presenting work for feedback, as well as providing feedback to others.
  • Leverage a data-driven design process through the usage of CRO practices, analytics, and A/B testing tools to inform design decisions.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to effectively conceptualize and communicate interaction behaviors or design intent.
  • Create design components that leverage video, live text, motion, and interactive functionality for responsive web and native applications.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of style guide and design system library files, best practices, and brand standards.
  • Develop ad-hoc designs or mockups as needed while balancing primary responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work on-site at Skechers Headquarters in Manhattan Beach, CA min. 2-days per week.
  • Digital portfolio showcasing past UX design work, processes, and decision-making.
  • Strong grasp of UX design processes, best practices, and methodologies.
  • Proficient in English with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to lead conversations and navigate feedback from stakeholders.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Figma is required.
  • Experience with style guides, design systems, and brand standards is preferred.
