About Our Client:

Our client is a prominent private equity firm looking to secure a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for one of their portfolio companies in the retail industry. This role is critical for driving financial strategy, operational efficiency, and long-term growth.

Position Overview:

As the CFO, you will be responsible for the financial health and strategic financial direction of the retail company. You will leverage your extensive experience in the retail industry to manage financial operations, optimize performance, and support strategic initiatives. This role requires a dynamic leader capable of navigating the complexities of a PE-backed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial strategy and operations of the retail company, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis.
  • Manage financial reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide strategic guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and other growth initiatives.
  • Optimize cash flow, working capital, and capital structure.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial systems.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to drive operational efficiencies and profitability.

  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel 25-40% monthly to company locations and stakeholder meetings.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $275,000 to $325,000 per year, depending on experience.
