The Regional Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Cincinnati is the first point-of-contact for any company looking to locate to or expand within the 15-county Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) of southwest Ohio, northern Kentucky and southeast Indiana, otherwise referred to as the Cincinnati region. SUMMARY: The Marketing Manager implements and executes marketing initiatives that support comprehensive campaign development, programmatic lead generation, and campaign analyses, ensuring alignment with the REDI Cincinnati marketing goals.
The ideal candidate has project management skills and a proven ability to synthesize multiple data streams and interactions to optimize communication and develop a marketing call to action. This candidate thinks strategically about the best way to leverage and deploy vendors and resources in the preparation of marketing deliverables.
This candidate can work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while adhering to project timelines. This person collaborates with the REDI Cincinnati team to develop content related to REDI Cincinnati’s target industry clusters, including a full understanding of project requirements to develop marketing initiatives, message tracks, and pilot concepts, ensuring consistent brand expression across all touch points for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Content Marketing: Collaborating closely with the external vendors, including copywriters, digital and advertising agencies, to create high-quality, engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, blogs/e-books, collateral materials, and email campaigns.
- Campaign Development and Execution: Assist in developing and implementing multi-channel marketing campaigns that complement creative direction for the REDI brand and aligns with the digital strategies set by the Vice President, MarComm.
- Market Research and Analytics: Conduct monthly analyses of campaign reporting and results to provide actionable insights that help refine marketing strategies to achieve annual goals. Share findings with the VP, MarComm to drive data-driven decisions.
- Paid Media: Work closely with research colleagues, copywriters, and agency partners to align and monitor REDI content and messages to effectively develop and execute paid media strategies across digital channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ensure the REDI brand executes on a cohesive marketing message and visual consistency across all channels.
- Reporting and Analytics: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns across all channels to the VP MarComm, using key metrics to assess progress and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
- 3-5 years' experience
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to leverage data to make informed marketing decisions.
- Experience in social media, content marketing, and paid media.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to proofread and edit.
- Creative thinker who can use data and intuition to make informed decisions.
- Strong presentation skills in developing engaging and effective PowerPoint presentations.
