  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Role: Business Analyst (3 Openings)

Location: Baltimore, MD

Key Skills: Business Analysis, Database Management Systems (DBMS), Documentation, CPACC/ WAS/ CUA

NOTE: 4 years (2 years+2 option years)

Preferred Qualifications:

At least eight (8) years of computer experience working independently or under general direction on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio and Project.

At least five (5) years of experience in the analysis and design of business applications for complex large-scale or mid-tier computer systems, or LAN-based systems.

Experience with Database Management Systems (DBMS) and programming languages.

Knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods.

Demonstrated ability to formulate specifications for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging of computer programs.

Preferred Experience:

Demonstrated knowledge of IT software requirements elicitation, documentation, and management.

Experience with financial, document, human resources management, or procurement management software.

Senior-level experience preparing business cases or other types of requests for IT software development.

Senior-level experience writing project deliverables such as functional requirements documents or requirements traceability matrices.

Experience performing gap analyses.

Experience planning and conducting IT software quality assurance testing, including writing test cases.

Facilitate and/or participate in the IT project review process in cooperation with other business analysts, IT project managers, and staff.

Developing and maintaining project documentation such as Functional Requirements Documents (FRD).

Complete mandated training as requested.

Enter information into the TFS application, including status updates and documentation.

Submit bi-monthly status reports as directed by the Manager.

Attend Project Management Branch meetings, Program Advisory Committee (PAC) meetings, and other meetings as requested.

Assist in performing evaluations of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) software and/or hardware.

Breadth of knowledge in the Business Analyst Body of Knowledge (BABOK).

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.

Alternatively, three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.

A Master's degree is preferred.

Certifications

The Following Certifications are Preferred:

IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC): Ensuring foundational knowledge in accessibility principles.

IAAP Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS): For projects with a significant web component, ensuring expertise in web accessibility.

Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) or equivalent: For general usability and accessibility knowledge.
