Title: LIMS Business Analayst
Location: Raleigh NC (Hybrid as May require traveling in the local Raleigh area to attend meetings)
Duration: 12+ Months
Pay: $40/hr all-inclusive
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Developa strong understanding of the functions, uses and requirements for the Lab Information Management System (LIMS)
• Identifyingand documenting current and future state process workflows
• Developingdocuments such as: Business objects inventory list Reports, email notificationsand Forms List, Email Notifications/Letters Inventory List, User Stories,Permission Matrix, Wireframes
• Additionaldevelopment of documents may include but is not limited to entity relationshipdiagrams, data dictionaries, system context diagrams
• Assistingin performing functional and integrated testing
• Preparingand maintaining project documentation and artifacts including analysis, reportsand user documentation
• Workingwith project manager, developers, and end-users to ensure LIMS designs meetbusiness requirements
• ProvidingUAT support, including developing test scenarios and cases using DHHSmethodology
• Supportingrequired system go-live activities
• Documentinggap analysis
• Trackdelivery and review/approval progress of each deliverable in accordance withapproved Project Work Plan and RACI
• AttendingPMO meetings
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES /COMPETENCIES:
• Demonstratedexperience participating in the documentation of functional requirements andtechnical specifications for existing and new applications
• Strong writing andcommunication skills
• Collaboration andrelationship-building with their team members and clients
• Results-orientedindividual with a very strong work ethic and must be able to demonstrateexcellent negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to workwith customers as a member of cross-divisional work groups and maintainpositive and productive relationships with customers, peers, and superiors
• Ability to actindependently with sound business judgment and thrive in environment withdiverse communication styles
• Ability to prepareand present oral and written documents clearly and concisely
• Ability to managecomplex assignments with multiple work streams and aggressive (and sometimescompeting) timelines
• Understanding of SoftwareDevelopment Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts and process
• Knowledge of andexperience with IT Service Management best practices and principles
• Experience withMicrosoft Office Suite (MS Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Visio) and MicrosoftProject
• Extensiveunderstanding of SharePoint end user experience, sites, libraries, lists andgroups
• LabInformation Management System (LIMS) or other health systems experience isdesired
• Musthave familiarity with agile methodology, tools and frameworks, i.e. scrum,kanban
