Wripple is looking for a Sr. Coordinator, Branded Content for one of our clients in the travel industry. This is a 20-30 hour per week, long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of extension. You will need to go onsite at least 1 day per week in south Atlanta.
The Sr. Coordinator on the Marketing Branded Content team plays a critical role in conveying brand values through welcoming, elevated, caring, and conversational customer communications. The position manages the flow of incoming requests, reviews copy, and ensures the timely delivery of communications. The Sr. Coordinator works closely with copywriters and builds positive relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and maintaining brand integrity. This position is based in Atlanta and reports to the Senior Manager.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage incoming content creation requests, ensuring timely execution and prioritization.
- Review and refine all content for clarity, grammar, tone of voice, and consistency with brand standards.
- Work closely with copywriters and legal team to ensure all content aligns with business objectives and legal requirements.
- Oversee the feedback and approval process, consolidating edits and ensuring smooth communication between teams.
- Regularly update the team’s project tracker to monitor the status of requests and maintain visibility on deadlines.
- Assist in maintaining and updating style guides and brand standards to reflect current guidelines and best practices.
- Lead the management and optimization of the team's project management tools.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS)
- 1-3 years of experience in a communications role.
- Strong editing and proofreading skills with an eye for clarity, tone, and brand voice alignment.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., SmartSheet, Workfront) and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge:
- A degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in content creation and storytelling.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet or other project management tools to help streamline workflows and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of the AP Style Guide, ensuring consistency and professionalism in all written communications.
