About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our technical support team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive Tier 1 and 2 support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure excellent service delivery to our organization.
IT Support Specialist Responsibilities
  • Deliver Tier 1 and 2 technical support for software and hardware systems
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using established procedures
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop prevention protocols
  • Maintain knowledge and call tracking databases
  • Provide technical guidance and informal training to end users
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive support coverage
  • Contribute to documentation and process improvement initiatives
IT Support Specialist Core Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or related field
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Apple Macintosh, and Apple iOS systems
  • Strong understanding of networking architecture and protocols
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • Experience with information security concepts and principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Additional Requirements
  • Availability for 24/7 on-call support rotation (laptop and phone provided)
  • Physical ability to:
    • Lift up to 25 pounds unassisted
    • Lift up to 50 pounds with assistance (infrequently)
    • Stand or walk for extended periods as needed
