The Role
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and boost sales. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the beverage alcohol industry, a passion for creativity, and strong leadership skills. The CMO is part of the U.S. executive team, working together to shape the company’s vision and implement initiatives that support our growth.

The Role
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and boost sales. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the beverage alcohol industry, a passion for creativity, and strong leadership skills. The CMO is part of the U.S. executive team, working together to shape the company’s vision and implement initiatives that support our growth.
Key Accountability
- Lead consumer-centered brand strategy, voice, and tone, protect brand integrity
- Develop and execute commercial strategy to meet sales objectives
- Develop successful strategies/campaigns that attract and maintain customers to grow the business
- Brand growth goals, forecasting, market expansion, consumer research, annual plan and budget
- New product launches
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team.
- Brand Management: Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels. Manage and grow the company’s portfolio of brands to maximize market share.
- Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape. Utilize data to inform marketing strategies and drive decision-making.
- Product Innovation: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for new product launches and enhancements. Drive go-to-market strategies for new products.
- Sales Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement marketing campaigns that support sales objectives. Provide marketing materials and training to the sales force.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
- Public Relations: Oversee public relations efforts to build and maintain a positive brand image. Manage relationships with media, influencers, and other external stakeholders.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. Report on progress and adjust strategies as needed.
- Brand Builder: Leads teams to create strong brand identities and deliver exceptional customer experiences, ensuring consistency and excellence across all brand touch points.
- Strategic Thinker: Leverages data and analytics to drive performance and inform decision-making processes.
- Mindsets and Values: Embodies an entrepreneurial spirit, has people-first approach, and inspires others to leave it better than they found it.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the beverage alcohol or CPG industry.
- Strong knowledge of brand management, digital marketing, market research, and consumer behavior.
- Process-driven leadership style, with experience building and leading high-accountability teams.
- Ability to develop and execute long-term marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Proficient in analyzing market data and translating insights into actionable strategies.
- Innovative mindset with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and consumer preferences.
- Ability to thrive and inspire in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Available for frequent travel
- EOS experience a plus.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must have a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license
- Light lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling may be required
