Description

We are hiring an experienced Chief Cabin Attendant to lead our growing team in delivering exceptional service, safety, reliability, and customer care. In this leadership role, you will manage a fleet of 28 aircraft and oversee a team of 10 cabin attendants, ensuring smooth operations and high performance. You will be supported by the VP of Client Experience and Director of Hospitality.

You will drive success by coaching and managing key areas, including attendance, appearance standards, safety compliance, and conflict resolution. Additionally, you will ensure that all cabin attendants are trained, up-to-date on policies, and fully prepared to exceed customer expectations.

To maintain operational flexibility and responsiveness to flight schedules, candidates should be located within a 1–2-hour drive from Van Nuys and commute to Silver Air's Global Headquarters in Santa Barbara once a week.

Job Functions



  • Lead and manage a team of 7 cabin attendants across a fleet of 28 aircraft, ensuring exceptional service and operational efficiency.


  • Oversee performance by coaching team members in key areas such as attendance, appearance, safety compliance, and customer service standards.


  • Design and implement training programs to ensure cabin attendants are fully prepared to meet service expectations and safety protocols.


  • Coordinate flight schedules to align attendants with aircraft operations and client needs, ensuring smooth and timely service.


  • Conduct performance reviews and provide continuous feedback to support professional growth and development within the team.


  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations, maintain service quality, and implement customer feedback.


  • Oversee uniform standards to align with the Silver Air brand and ensure immaculate presentation.


  • Support inaugural flights and observation trips to ensure service consistency and address any operational challenges in real time.


  • Stay updated on industry trends to continuously enhance the guest experience and maintain competitive excellence.



Skills Knowledge and Expertise



  • Leadership and Team Management: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.


  • FACT Training & Compliance: Knowledge of FACT (Flight Attendant Certificate Training) standards and compliance with Part 135 regulations.


  • Food Service and Culinary Expertise: Experience in luxury food preparation, plating, and service for VVIP clients, with relevant certifications.


  • Brand and Hospitality Excellence: Familiarity with luxury brand standards and hospitality best practices to deliver world-class experiences.


  • Operational Knowledge: Understanding of Part 135 operations and aviation safety protocols, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.


  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication for coaching, conflict resolution, and providing actionable feedback.


  • Organizational & Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage schedules, coordinate multiple flights, and meet deadlines effectively.


  • Technical Proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams) for managing reports and communications.


  • Adaptability & Flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent travel requirements.
