Job Title: Mobile / Network Operation Administrator

Position Summary:
We are seeking a Mobile / Network Operation Administrator with strong knowledge in cellular mobile and telecommunications, as well as excellent customer support and clerical skills. The role requires troubleshooting corporate cellular and voice services, managing mobile assets, and coordinating with vendors and network engineering teams to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of the corporate mobile network.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • 60% - Mobile and Network Operations:
    • Perform varied tasks of moderate complexity using standard procedures.
    • Troubleshoot corporate cellular mobile issues for end-users and manage IT/mobile asset logistics.
    • Manage relationships with vendors/carriers to provide end-user support.
    • Administer and maintain corporate cloud voice services (Samsung SCME) and provide on-site support.
    • Generate and analyze monthly voice service utilization reports and manage voice inventory.
  • 40% - Service Management and Client Support:
    • Respond to work order requests and ensure timely completion with high-quality standards.
    • Manage ISP services, including onboarding new circuits, terminating old circuits, and following up on service tickets.
    • Collaborate with local/remote network engineering teams for WAN/LAN support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
    • Perform mobile service asset retrieval, upgrades, and logistics for terminated and active users.
    • Utilize the Asset Management Database System for tracking device return status and send FOTA messages to users.
    • Provide regular service reports and conduct quarterly asset audits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • 4-year college degree in Telecommunications or a related field.
  • Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
    • Expertise in IPT support and corporate cloud voice services.
    • Experience with ISP management, including circuit onboarding, ticket handling, and service reports.
    • Strong knowledge of mobile service logistics, asset management, and generating service reports.
    • Proficiency in collaborating with network engineering teams on WAN/LAN projects and support.
    • Competence with asset retrieval and management tools, including FOTA messaging and status tracking.
  • Computer Skills:
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Travel Requirement:

  • 35% travel required.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit, climb, balance, and communicate effectively.
  • Occasional standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Must regularly lift/move up to 10-40 lbs.
  • Specific vision abilities including close, distance, and colour vision.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A+ Certified (preferred but not required).
