Position Description
A distinguished law firm is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join their team in the New York office; this person has the option to work 100% remotely with flexibility to come into the office for training or meetings as needed. The Conflicts Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, identifying, and resolving potential conflicts on new business opportunities firm-wide. The person in this role will advise on any information necessary to complete conflict-of-interest checks with respect to lateral candidates or new clients. The Conflicts Analyst will also work closely with the Conflicts Counsel to implement screening requirements, obtain waivers, and review guidelines.
Required Skills
The qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree and two or more years of relevant experience. The Conflicts Analyst should possess the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to articulate conflicts/other issues clearly, precisely, succinctly, and with appropriate urgency, and exceptional project management abilities are a must.
Annual Salary (US$): 80,000-95,000 /annual
