Data and Analytics - Head of Focused Analytics Solutions Team (FAST)

Looking for Leaders that can develop the next generation of analytical talent for Consumer and Community Banking for the firm!

As the Head of Focused Analytics Solutions Team (FAST), within the Data and Analytics organization, you will run an approximate 100 FTE internal consulting group across all aspects of its operations and output, build and maintain a book of work, recruit new classes of college hires each year, train the data scientists and product managers on the team, and place them within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop senior relationships at all levels of the Consumer and Community Banking organization across all Lines of Business
• Apply strategic, analytical and leadership skills to broad range of challenges faced by the enterprise
• Deepen market knowledge of various industries including retail sales, payments, small businesses, consumer credit, investment vehicles, human behavior, operational efficiency and financial technologies
• Grow leadership skills by managing a growing team, managing diverse group of clients and projects, mentoring and coaching others on FAST and by socializing new ideas across the firm
• Help FAST and our internal clients define new solutions or strategies that leverage analytics and Big Data to drive superior customer experience and business performance
• Partner with other lines of business analytics heads to develop a book of work that adds value to the firm and provides a first class training experience for FAST staff and develop an culture of inclusion, fun, and ownership that translates to an attractive long term career for FAST recruits at Chase.

Required Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 10+ years of experience; Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline
• Consulting orientation with ability to influence and effectively lead cross-functional teams
• Experience managing a team and developing talent
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and keep numerous projects on track
• Experience with data analytics and/or visualization techniques (e.g. SQL, Python, Tableau), as well as Cloud/AI technologies

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 5+ years of experience at a consulting firm
• Deep understanding of the financial services or retail banking industry
• MBA or other Masters' degree
