As a scientist, you will conduct and monitor production activities or laboratory experiments using established procedures or batch records, applying technical and theoretical understanding, and managing schedules and workflow to achieve assigned objectives.

The Opportunity

• Conduct and monitor production activities or laboratory experiments utilizing established and published procedures, batch records, and technical and theoretical understanding, while managing schedules and workflows to accomplish assigned objectives or schedules.
• Assume responsibility for the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of production work or testing activities. Summarize batch or experimental results and review conclusions with the supervisor/project leader. Communicate results of experiments and keep the supervisor/project leader informed of work status, particularly significant findings and results in critical problem areas.
• Analyze and interpret test results and experimental data using various data analysis software, spreadsheets, or quantitative methods. Use technical writing skills to produce reports and documents. May present findings at internal meetings.
• Assume accountability for batch record, hard copy, or electronic lab notebook documentation, ensuring experimental methods and results are recorded timely, accurately, consistently, and according to established formats.
• Troubleshoot issues related to equipment or instrumentation. With guidance, analyze and brainstorm alternative approaches to solve problems, make recommendations, and find solutions.
• Establish appropriate internal, cross-functional, and customer relationships.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Who You Are

• You have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• You have 3 years of relevant industry experience or general laboratory experience
• Ability to execute relevant laboratory experimentation

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of New Jersey is 60,600.00 - 112,500.00 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
